Alumna Alyza Brevard-Rodriguez Named 2018 Sailor of the Year
NJCU alumna Alyza (Anderson) Brevard-Rodriguez, '12, who serves on active duty in the U.S Navy, was named 2018 Sailor of the Year.
In addition to her military career, this past fall, she opened her own business in downtown Jersey City called SW3AT, Jersey City’s first Infrared Sauna Studio.
Brevard-Rodriguez notes, "I owe much of my success to NJCU as it was the start to my professional growth. Going to school there was an amazing experience and I'm glad to have successful stories to share years after graduating!"
