Completion of this major prepares one to teach in elementary schools, grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Candidates in this major prepare to teach all core subjects. If you are an Elementary Education major and want to teach middle school, up to 8th grade, you can add a middle school endorsement in a specific content area.
