Completion of this major prepares one for a career as a jazz performer. Students regularly perform in ensembles such as the Jazz Big Band, Latin Jazz Band, and various smaller combos. Our world renowned faculty will prepare you to become a leader in the music industry.
In addition to acceptance to NJCU, all Music students must audition for placement in the major. We offer rolling auditions, please contact us to schedule an audition, or to learn more about how we can help you start your career in the music industry.
