How To Make A Work Order

Step 1
First, head to NJCU's work order system at and enter your school email as your username and enter your password. Select "Maintenance Direct" in the Product selection menu.

Step 2
Next, hit submit and head to the top of the page. Select the "New Work Order" tab and fill in your request in the work order form.

Step 3
Last, complete fill in all required fields. (The Submittal Password is: 'njcufcm') It is okay, if you don't know the everything about your request. We review all work orders for processing. Record your work order number after you submit the request. It typically takes 3 - 7 business days for a request to be filled.

Patrick M. Bartole, Associate Vice President

Patrick M. Bartole has been a dedicated leader at Âé¶¹ÒùÔº since 1994, now serving as the Associate Vice President for the Department of Facilities and Construction Management. This role includes overseeing a portfolio of more than 1 million square feet across 14 buildings, leading a diverse team of over 90 skilled employees, and managing multiple departments. He is the driving force behind the campus's physical transformation, overseeing major projects, from critical infrastructure upgrades to building renovations.
Patrick's journey from a hands-on technician to a key campus leader is a testament to his dedication and skill. He has a knack for tackling challenges head-on, leading his team to complete critical projects like replacing the university's HVAC chiller, high-pressure boiler, and underground steam piping. He also spearheaded the successful renovations of the Vodra Dormitory and Grossnickle Hall.
What truly sets Patrick apart is his focus on people. He has strategically built a powerhouse team within his department, recruiting new leadership for custodial and HVAC services, and promoting internal talent to enhance leadership for engineering and maintenance management. This not only improves campus services but also yields significant cost savings. His leadership extends beyond his department, as he also chairs the Space Management and Planning Committee, shaping the future of the campus.
Before his current role, Patrick built the Automotive Fleet Department from the ground up, earning national recognition for his work in reducing preventable collisions and earning the NJCU "Making It Happen" award. A Certified Automotive Fleet Manager, he remains committed to building a safe, efficient, and beautiful campus.
Ray Arroyo, Assistant Director

Ray Arroyo is the Assistant Director of Facilities and Construction Management at Âé¶¹ÒùÔº (NJCU), with over 20 years of experience in operational leadership. He supports the Associate Vice President in overseeing all physical plant operations for a portfolio of 1 million+ square feet across 14 buildings, including off-campus properties.
Ray helps lead a diverse team of over 90 employees and manages multiple departments, including Maintenance, HVAC, Landscaping, and Fire and Life Safety. He is skilled in vendor management, spearheading the transition to new service providers to enhance operational efficiency. His expertise also includes overseeing maintenance operations and playing a pivotal role in project management for capital projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
A strong leader in employee relations, Ray is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and enhancing staff morale. He is committed to improving NJCU's facilities with a focus on sustainability and compliance.
