We work closely with faculty and academic departments to provide personalized assistance tailored to your needs. More than just a study space, the Learning Commons is a supportive community where students can find the tools and guidance needed to excel.

Kristina Harb, Ed.D. is the Associate Director of the Learning Commons at Âé¶¹ÒùÔº, where she oversees academic support services that advance student success and retention. She manages peer and embedded tutoring programs in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, collaborates with faculty to align resources with curricula, and assists with Academic Standing processes.

With over 18 years of higher education experience, Dr. Harb specializes in student success, program development, and grant administration, including Title III and V initiatives that strengthened STEM pathways. She earned her Ed.D. in Educational Technology Leadership from NJCU, where her research explored the motivational impact of digital badging. 

An active scholar and presenter, she has shared her work nationally on digital badging, podcast learning, and innovative strategies for student engagement.

Khadija Diop serves as the Learning Commons Coordinator at Âé¶¹ÒùÔº. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a co-major in English Creative Writing and a minor in Literature from NJCU. 

Ms. Diop brings extensive experience to her role, having worked for both the Learning Commons and the Writing Center, where she supported students across a wide range of biology and writing courses.
